Under The Weather

This photo shows what it's like to live in the Hampton Roads area these days. We've had smoke hanging in the air for the past few weeks, as a fire's been burning from North Carolina into our area of Virginia. They predict it will be with us for a few more weeks!


This is an inconvenience...and a health hazard...though not so devastating as what some parts of the country are experiencing.

Chasing Down the Little Guy

Cullen has been very active this past week. He's been to North Carolina's Outer Banks, to Williamsburg, to church, to restaurants, and much more. Why? Because he's had to keep the company entertained. This is Cullen keeping grandma and grandpa (better known as "Nana and Pop-Pop") busy during their vacation. As you can see it takes a lot of work...

In Search of...

Does anyone here remember the TV show "In Search of..." with Leonard Nimoy?

Well, if you've been in search of the Shomos they've been a little busy. Last week I went to a General Assembly in Dallas, TX (a church conference of sorts), while Cheryl admirably held down the fort here. Still recovering from that trip.

I was shocked to come home on Friday, after seeing Cullen on Monday morning, to find that Cullen had grown up! Yes, he is almost completely grown now. He's not a baby. He's at least a little boy now, if not a young man.

Here he is, searching for the perfect toy...
