Moose Approved

In the picture above I think Cullen looks a little bit like a Yooper* -- so to readers of this blog who live in the frozen north, where it has recently been 30 degrees below zero (!), this post is dedicated to you. (No need to post a comment if your mittens haven't thawed.)

Did you know that Cullen still loves his moose? Yep, this is one of many gifts (thanks Pat and Lori!) that has gotten plenty of mileage. And now Cullen received from his parents a matching moose outfit to go with it!

The shirt and the socks have a 100% moose approval rating. You can click to enlarge if you're into baby outfits and/or moose and moose offspring.

Cullen has a fondness for animals in general, but a special affection for Moose the Moose. (Other favorites include Bugaggin the Bug, Mr. Lion, and the as-yet-unnamed singing dog.) Smarty and Scoche are still vying for his attention, and for his cooperation on some of their long-term plans.

I highly reccomend the Yooper sight! Got a good chuckle of it, ya know dere, eh?
I am afraid Cullens uncovered face would make him more of a "troll" than a "Yooper," but nice try. Next time wrap his head in a scarf with only eyes showing.
The huge smile on his face was questionable as well... But I figured maybe the picture would work if taken in deer season, so we'll let that slide.
Oh yeah.. THANKS for the article. I am impressed with your southern etiquette. ie: actually SENDING an article you said you would.. and promptly. wow. It was very, very, good, btw.

Oh.. ok. Upon review the smile makes sense because he sees a MOOSE.

Joni, you make a good point though -- not much smiling normally going on in "30 below" weather. Although if someone were smiling just before winter hit, the smile might be frozen in place like that for the duration of winter. (Which is about 9 months up there...)

As a Yankee with Yooper blood, I have to say that, yah, Cullen is one good looking Yooper, eh. Maybe it's in the ice, eh?

Wow. 13 minutes? That's terrible.
I always say that Simon is harsh, but he is right. And so I agree. He did lack personality. He doesn't light up the stage or anything. BUT it was a lot better than last week and pretty good. I don't think he'll win. I don't think he'll make it to the top 12. But if he did that'd be great!
I'm pretty sure David Archiletto (sp?) will win.
